American Saddlebred Museum Accepting Art Consignments

Details
Category: News & Events
Published: December 03, 2018

The American Saddlebred Museum is pleased to announce the highly anticipated Equine Art, Antique and Rare Book Auction will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the American Saddlebred Museum at the Kentucky Horse Park.

To prepare for this much loved event, the Museum is accepting consignments until February 1, 2019. Saddlebred and equine artwork in all media is considered. Historic Saddlebred artifacts, rare books, equine jewelry and collectibles are also welcome. Due to the demand for and popularity of George Ford Morris artwork, the auction has expanded to include any sporting subject by Morris.

A committee selects approximately 60 items for inclusion in the auction, trying to ensure a variety in media, subject matter and pricing. A quality four-color catalog will be printed and distributed online and by mail to interested buyers.

If you have a work to consign, contact Amy Nelson at amy@asbmuseum.org or (859) 259-2746 ext. 344 to request a consignment package.
