ASAW Pays It Forward To Lesson Barns

Details
Category: News & Events
Published: April 14, 2020

Recently the American Saddlebred Association of Wisconsin’s (ASAW) Board of Directors met via a social distance teleconference with much of the discussion revolving around the impact that COVID-19 is having on the horse industry.  The main question on the table was, “What can we do as an organization to help our Saddlebred families that have always supported our organization and horse shows?” It was proposed and unanimously agreed upon that ASAW is paying it forward by returning support to every barn that participated in any 2019 academy classes at horse shows in the State of Wisconsin.

Twenty barns will receive a check along with a personal letter from ASAW in hopes that this money will help relieve some of the stress associated with how to continue to care and feed the currently unemployed lesson horses who are so important to the industry.

ASAW encourages anyone that has the means to “pay it forward” to make a contribution to their Charter Club to help keep this effort going.
