“MEET & GREET” HOSTED BY AMERICAN SADDLEBRED MUSEUM

Jennifer Foster, Elizabeth Ghareeb, Michael Petty and Sally Joe Jackson. The American Saddlebred Museum hosted a successful “Meet & Greet” in the Red Mile Clubhouse on Tuesday evening during the Lexington Junior League Horse Show. The event offered a chance for horse show attendees to mingle with many of the Museum’s trustees, while viewing a selection of art pieces from the Museum’s Equine Art, Antique & Rare Book Auction. Close to 100 guests enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Elizabeth Ghareeb and Michael Petty as well as Arabella and Leatherwood wines graciously hosted by Nic de Wet and family’s De Wet’s Toast of Kentucky. A cash bar was offered for other beverages. Attendees could purchase VIP booths or tables for the Museum’s upcoming Back To The Eighties Lip Sync Battle at the Kentucky State Fair and membership forms were available. A wonderful time was had by all and the “Meet & Greet” may well become a yearly event.

The American Saddlebred Museum and Gift Shop, aka The Showplace for Saddlebreds, located on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park, is open daily from 9 am – 6 pm. Admission to the Museum includes free admission to the Kentucky Horse Park. Current Museum members receive free admission to both the Showplace for Saddlebreds and the Kentucky Horse Park, as well as 10% off on Gift Shop purchases.
