The American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association is preparing to host the inaugural Half Saddlebred Stallion Service auction for its new ASHBA Half Saddlebred Futurity, which will debut at the 2022 All American Horse Classic with an open weanling class.
A breakfast, a live stallion presentation and the stallion service auction will take place on Saturday, January 22 at 10 a.m. at Sunrise Stables (5740 Troy Pike, Versailles, Ky.) Sixteen American Saddlebred, Dutch Harness and Hackney stallions are expected, as well as additional stallions for inspection. The live auction will include 60 stallion services from these breeds.
