National Academy Championship Finals Announces 2017 Judges

Details
Category: News & Events
Published: March 16, 2017

The National Academy Championship Finals recently announced the judging panel for 2017. The judges will be Liz McBride Jones, Raeford, N.C., Sarah Russell, Wesley Chapel, Fla. and Matthew Roberts, Cave Creek, Ariz.

The National Academy Championship Finals will be held Nov. 3-5 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Outstanding judges, a great facility, and awesome prizes, make this one of kind show for the academy rider.

Last year the show had 896 entries from 18 states, as far away as Wisconsin, Florida, Kansas and Missouri, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital received a check in the amount of $35,000. To date, the show has donated over $300,000 to St. Jude, thanks to the wonderful people who support this show. The show is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers.

This year the Hackney Society will be joining the fun, with the addition of an Academy Hackney Pleasure Pony Under Saddle and Academy Pleasure Pony Driving class. Both classes will have a qualifier and championship class.
