    Lunchtime Lecture Series Continues in 2020

    The American Saddlebred Museum and International Museum of the Horse are pleased to announce the continuation of the popular Lunchtime Lecture series. Join the museums on the first Thursday of the month to learn about a wide variety of equine topics from an array of experts. The lecture location will alternate between institutions, both of which are located on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park. The lectures are free and open to the public.

    The first four lectures of 2020 have been announced:

    Thursday, January 9, 12:30 p.m.
    International Museum of the Horse
    Lenny Shulman, will speak about his book Justify: 111 Days to Triple Crown Glory.

    Thursday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m.
    American Saddlebred Museum
    Dr. Stephen McBride from Camp Nelson National Monument will give a talk titled "Horses and Mules for the Union: Camp Nelson and Civil War Transportation."

    Thursday, March 5 at 12:30 p.m.
    International Museum of the Horse
    Milton Toby will speak about his book Taking Shergar: Thoroughbred Racing’s Most Famous Cold Case.

    Thursday, April 2 at 12:30 p.m.
    American Saddlebred Museum
    Holley Grosheck, Executive Director, Equine Land Conservation Resource will give a talk titled “Losing Ground: Our Greatest Threat.”
