Details
Category: News & Events
Published: June 10, 2020

The American Saddlebred Museum is pleased to announce it will open to the public on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. After this time, the Museum will be open Wednesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission fees will be: Museum members, free; Adults, $12; Child, $6; Senior, $10; Military with ID, $6. Admission includes entrance to the Kentucky Horse Park.

In anticipation of reopening, Museum staff have implemented extra precautionary measures to disinfect our spaces throughout the day. We are increasing the cleaning frequency of high-touch and high-traffic areas such as entry areas. We have installed plexi-glass shields at our front desk. We are providing additional hand sanitizers in strategic locations throughout the building. We encourage all staff, volunteers and guests to make use of these resources. All staff will wear masks, and we encourage all guests to do so as well. Masks will be available upon request. Additionally, we are encouraging social distancing and maintaining a safe 6-foot distance between guests and staff.

Although we would love to see you when we are open, if you are sick or feeling unwell, we urge you to stay home and avoid close contact with others, as recommended by the CDC.

The Museum Gift Shop will be open to the public as well. Members of the public are encouraged to visit and shop new merchandise.

The American Saddlebred Museum and Gift Shop is located at 4083 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, Kentucky, on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park.
