A three-year contact to host the prestigious “Good Hands” Finals through 2016 has been awarded by the National Horse Show Association to the Mid-America Mane Event Show, host to the finals for the past five years at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

We are saddened to announce the passing of CH Face Card at 31 years old. The mare was a dominant five-gaited force from the first time she entered the ring which was at Louisville in 1987 when she was shown by Jim Koller and was the Three-Year-Old Mare Reserve World Champion.
At the annual meeting of the SEHA, the board of directors and members voted to implement an incentive program to give cash awards to members showing their ponies at selected shows in the region.

The American Saddlebred Museum is accepting consignments to be considered for inclusion in the 2014 Equine Art, Antique and Rare Book Auction. The auction will be held on Saturday July 12th at the Museum’s Showplace for Saddlebreds in conjunction with the Lexington Jr. League Horse Show. Deadline for submission of consignments is March 24, 2014.
