Saddlebred World Mourns the Loss of Jerry Hutson

Gerald "Jerry" Patrick Hutson, 51, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019. A successful trainer of World's Champion American Saddlebred and Roadster horses, Hutson was employed at Rose Stables, Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Born to, and predeceased by, Gerald Hutson and Pat Moulton Hutson Close, he is survived by his daughter Dylan Hutson Portman, and her husband Aaron, and granddaughter Ruby, of Louisville; sister Helen Robertson and her husband Jimmy, of Shelbyville, and many lifelong friends in the horse industry.

Visitation will be held Monday September 23 from, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Shannon Funeral Home 1124 Main St. Shelbyville, Kentucky.
