Attend The 2018 National Horse Show For FREE and Help Support The UPHA

The UPHA recently applied for and was chosen as one of several local charities to participate in the 2018 National Horse Show Bluegrass Charity Benefit Event, Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3.

Presented by Goshen Hill and Meralex Farm, this inaugural event will host members of the UPHA as well as their friends at the National Horse Show, with a chance for the UPHA to win a cash bonus to support the organization's many programs.

As a charitable organization, the UPHA has received a unique ticket code to share with its membership. This code enables any individual that plans to purchase tickets to attend The National Horse Show either Friday or Saturday evenings, to do so absolutley free. Through these specific ticket codes the charity with the most supporters in attendance will win the cash bonus.

To obtain your free admission tickets to The National Horse Show please visit nhs.org/tickets. Once you have selected the number of tickets you desire, click on "Enter Promotional Code." Please use the Unique Code "UPHA" at checkout so that UPHA receives credit for your attendance. At that point the Friday and Saturday evening ticket prices go to zero. Again all attendees will be able to use this ticket code for FREE admission tickets.

Friday evening's event will begin at 7 p.m. with the inaugural $50,000 National Horse Show Hunter Classic. All charities in attendance on Friday night will be entered to win an additional cash bonus through an Athlete's draw, where top hunter riders will draw the names of the charities in attendance. Charities that are chosen by the top three placing riders shall receive an additional bonus: First place will receive a $2,500 bonus, second will receive a $1,000 bonus, and third will receive a $500 bonus.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, attendees will be cheering on competitors in the $250,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lexington. The winning charities will be announced following each class. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three charities with the strongest attendance on Saturday evening, and they will take home $5,000 for first place, $3,500 for second place, and $1,500 for third.
