This  year's Tanbark Cavalcade Of Roses Horse Show will be held June 27-30 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. Judges are Sandra Currier, John Whalen and Chris Brannan. John Whalen will judge the Morgan classes.

There are a few updates to the class schedule for 2018.

Class 165 -- The correct class title is Saddle Seat Equitation 17 & under Championship
Class 113 will be $400 ASB Park Jr./Limit Stake
Class 122A will be Hackney Roadster Pony Jr./Limit and will follow the Friday evening ring drag.

Volunteers
Tanbark is always looking for volunteers to assist with gate duties, exhibitor party setup, etc. Adults and Youth are welcome to volunteer. As a reminder for those youth participating in the MN Saddlebred Horse Association Youth Achievement Awards Program, you earn points for volunteering at a show. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Sally or Doug.

Sponsorships and Advertising
The sponsorship campaign is underway. Sponsorships of $150 or more include box sets and a hospitality bag. The show also offers advertising in its show program and as part of scrolling display on the Coliseum jumbotron. Cost is $60 per camera-ready page.

Tanbark Hall of Champions
Think about honoring your favorite champion past or present with a banner displayed in the show's party area. These great photo banners honor your champions and proceeds directly support Tanbark’s hospitality. Details on this program are available in the prize list.

Wine on Wheels
The MN Saddlebred Horse Association will be hosting “Wine on Wheels” as a fundraiser for MSHA programs. Prior to the show on Wednesday through Friday evenings, watch for the strolling wine wagon in the stabling area. For a $20 donation, you may select a numbered cork and win the matching bottle of wine. Everyone is a guaranteed winner and it’s a great way to support MSHA.

Entry Check List & Check In
Pre-entry closing date is June 6th. Tanbark encourages all exhibitors to check in at the office on Tuesday, June 27, starting at 4:00 p.m., especially anyone entering additional horses not previously entered. Getting the entries for any new horses on Tuesday evening greatly helps with preparing for the show start on Wednesday morning.
