F.A.S.H. 2018 Prize List is in the Mail

The F.A.S.H. Spring Horse Show Committee wishes to invite all to attend this year, with the dates once again coinciding with Mother’s Day Weekend, May 10-13, 2018. Held in the Warner Coliseum at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, Minn., with multiple warm-up arenas once again helps keep F.A.S.H. as a favorite among both exhibitors and trainers.

Lisa Waller, Shane Mullens and Sarah Russell make up the three-judge panel for Saddlebreds, SaddlesSeat Equitation, Hackney Ponies and Open classes. Lisa Waller will judge Morgans. F.A.S.H. features several UPHA Classics, along with ASB and Morgan Jackpot classes and a full schedule of the traditional Saddlebred, Morgan and Pony classes.

The 2018 F.A.S.H. Spring Horse Show prize lists are in the mail. If you have not received yours and want a sneak peek, visit www.fashhorseshow.com. Barn packets are currently being assembled and mailed. Entries will close April 21, 2018.

F.A.S.H. is affiliated with the following associations for both levels A and B of awards: Minnesota Saddlebred Horse Association, North Central Morgan Association, Iowa Horse Show Association, Illinois Pleasure Saddlebred Horse Association, Wisconsin American Saddlebred Association, Mid-America Horse Association, Nebraska Saddlebred Horse Association, AMHA and ASHA as well as a qualifying show for the 2018 World’s Championship Horse Show.

Once again, the trainer’s lottery is back the year! Select classes offer trainers an opportunity to win a cash prize. Over $2,000 in total prize monies will be paid to trainers. A lottery ball will be drawn in select classes from a drum with balls numbered 1-8. The number on the ball drawn will indicate the placing of the cash winner in the class. You don’t have to win; you just have to be lucky! The Daily Publications programs will once again be available for each session and include the prior sessions’ results.

Known for their hospitality, daily parties and activities, the all-volunteer show committee is busy preparing and planning for a great weekend, which will include the 5th annual youth event to take place on Saturday. For the second year now, FASH will be partnering with This Old Horse, a local non-profit that provides lifelong sanctuary to retired service horses.

Updates/changes and class additions and sponsorship opportunities regarding the show can be found on the website as well as on the F.A.S.H. Spring Horse Show Facebook page.
