Blowing Rock Charity Adds Additional Prize Money

The Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show Foundation and show committee are excited to announce that an additional $10,000 is being added to the prize money for the show scheduled June 8-12, 2017.

Show chairperson, Susan Whittington shared this statement: “In our 94th year, we are the oldest continuous running outdoor show in the United States and have been supported by many loyal exhibitors and donors through the years. This money is a 'thank you' to them! We will use the money in two ways. First, we will select and post forty (40) classes in which $100 will be given to a ribbon winner who may or may not be first. The trainer of the winning horse will also be awarded $100. In addition, during each of the four days there will be two drawings for $250 including those who enter their name.”

The judge for this year is David Cater.
