SADDLEBRED MUSEUM TO HOST “MEET & GREET” AT LEXINGTON JUNIOR LEAGUE HORSE SHOW

The American Saddlebred Museum is hosting a Meet & Greet in the Red Mile Clubhouse (use ringside entrance) on Tuesday, July 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is open to all and is a chance for Junior League Horse Show attendees to mingle with many of the Museum’s trustees, while perusing a sampling of art that will be available for purchase at the Museum’s Equine Art, Antique & Rare Book Auction on Saturday, July 9.

Pick up an auction catalog, visit with friends, and enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Elizabeth Ghareeb and Michael Petty. Nic De Wet and family will be hosting complimentary Arabella and Leatherwood wines from De Wet’s Toast of Kentucky. A cash bar will be available for other beverages. Guests can purchase VIP booths/tables for the Museum’s Back To The Eighties Lip Sync Battle at the Kentucky State Fair. The party is held in the Saddlebred Café every Wednesday night following the evening performance of the World’s Championship Horse Show and last year’s event was a sell out. If you are attending the Lexington Junior League Horse Show, be sure to stop by the Red Mile Clubhouse on Tuesday night and “meet” your Museum!

The American Saddlebred Museum and Gift Shop, aka The Showplace for Saddlebreds, located on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park, is open daily from 9 am – 6 pm. Admission to the Museum includes free admission to the Kentucky Horse Park. Current Museum members receive free admission to both the Showplace for Saddlebreds and the Kentucky Horse Park, as well as 10% off on Gift Shop purchases. Contact Kim Skipton at Kim@asbmuseum.org or 859-259-2746 for more information.
