Updates to Wisconsin Futurity

With the recent injury of our good friend and horse show judge, Nelson Green, the Wisconsin Futurity Horse Festival has had to find a replacement. Luckily, Ms. Melissa Moore of Versailles, Kentucky, has been gracious enough to help us out, filling the role on our three-judge panel. She will be joined by Nancy Becker and Allison Deardorff in center ring for all sessions and classes of the horse show, including the Academy session. The immense popularity of the three-judge panel for our Academy riders last year has led us to continue that great idea for 2015.

One addition to the show schedule for this year, a Masters Three-Gaited Show Pleasure class has been added to the Thursday evening schedule as class 25a. The Masters division is for riders 50 and over and has become increasingly popular in the past few years. Horses showing in the Masters qualifier will be eligible for the Adult Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Stake on Saturday night. Riders who are eligible for the Masters division are not required to show in it. They may show in the 18-and-Over Show Pleasure qualifier if they so choose.
