Working Western Clinic to be Offered January 20-21

Sponsored by Suzanne Bradshaw, a Working Western clinic will be offered January 20-21, 2012 at the Louisville Equestrian Center (Betsy Webb Stables) in Louisville, Kentucky.

Carol Jones has trained Appaloosas to over 100 World and National titles. She was the 2009 Appaloosa Horse Trainer of the Year. Carol has also seen great success in the Saddlebred world and is the winningest trainer of Working Western horses in history.

Horses that she has trained have won seven Saddle & Bridle Working Western Pleasure World’s Grand Championship titles. In 2011 she trained Red Hot Momma, who won the Saddle & Bridle Working Western Pleasure World’s Grand Championship and Winsdown Allegheny, who won the Saddle & Bridle Juvenile Shatner World’s Grand Championship. Carol also trained The American Flag and his owner Suzanne Bradshaw to win the first ever Country Western Pleasure Invitational Championship held at the World’s Championship Horse Show. The American Flag also went on to win Saddle & Bridle’s Western Pleasure World’s Grand Championship, Saddle & Bridle’s Working Western World’s Grand Championship, and the UPHA National Western Country Pleasure Championship.

Carol has been training horses for 32 years, specializing in youth and amateur riders in western, hunt seat and gaming classes. Carol has been instrumental in the development of the Saddlebred Pole Bending division.
