In response to Rob Wilson being honored as the 2012 recipient of the C.J. Cronan Sportsmanship Award, Julianne Wilson and Ashley Wilson-Hammer, who accepted the award on behalf of their late husband and father contacted ASHA to express their thanks and appreciation to ASHA for the honor.

In a card recently sent to ASHA, the Wilsons state:

Ashley and I were blessed with the awards dinner and presentation for our loved one, Rob Wilson. We are humbled, as Rob would have been to accept in his honor. The Julep Cup is a sweet treasure for our treasured years with American Saddlebreds.

Thank you to the nominator, the board and the staff for your help and kindnesses to us before, during and after the awards event. God Bless the American Saddlebred!

With much appreciation,

Julianne M. Wilson and Ashley T. Wilson-Hammer
