Schedule Released for 2012 ASHA Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge
The schedule for the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) 2012 Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge, sponsored by Elisabeth Goth, has been released.
The schedule for 2012 is as follows:
River Ridge April 25-28
Nebraska Charity Horse Show May 31 – June 2
Jersey Classic Horse Show June 8-10
Charity Fair Horse Show June 12-15
Syracuse International June 27-30
Huntsville Society Horse Show July 7-8
Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show July 24-28
UPHA American Royal National Championship November 13-17
ASHA and Elisabeth Goth are pleased to offer the ASHA Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge program to promote the sport of driving American Saddlebreds for young enthusiasts.
If your show is interested in participating in the ASHA Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge in 2012, application forms can be found here. Beginning this year, the Driving Challenge will consist of qualifying classes in two divisions, Junior Exhibitor Country Pleasure Driving and Junior Exhibitor Show Pleasure Driving, at selected shows throughout the year, and each show must offer both classes. Custom medals and ribbons will be provided by ASHA.
The 2012 ASHA Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge Finals will be held at the UPHA American Royal National Championship, set to take place beginning Tuesday, November 13, through Saturday, November 17. To be eligible for the $10,000 in cash and prizes offered, a horse must be a ribbon winner in two qualifying classes prior to the Finals. A horse must qualify in two official Junior Exhibitor Country Pleasure Driving classes to qualify for the Country Pleasure Driving final or two official Junior Exhibitor Show Pleasure Driving classes to qualify for the Show Pleasure Driving Final.
