Paula Johnson Notifies ASHA Directors of Resignation
Paula Johnson has notified the Directors of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) that she is resigning her position as Executive Director of ASHA, effective March 31. Johnson has held the position since June of 2010.
“We are thankful for the work Paula has done and wish her the best of luck,” said ASHA President Tandy Patrick. “Paula came in during a tumultuous time for the Association and she made good decisions regarding the business structure and technology needs that will benefit this Association well into the future.”
“Paula Johnson leaves ASHA in much better shape than she found it,” added outgoing President, Judy Werner. “Her accomplishments are mainly unseen to the average member, but those of us who have worked with her and who know what the organization needed when she was hired, will be forever grateful to her. Paula made my life a lot easier as President and I wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors.”
The Executive Committee has met and begun work on replacing Johnson. Information regarding the application process for the open position will soon be posted.
