It is with great sadness I share news of the passing of Osman Tatar , 56,  El Cajon, California. Osman passed of a massive heart attack late afternoon Thursday, May 16th.  Osman Tatar was a brilliant sportsman and loving father and supporter of his family’s interests. Surviving Osman are his wife of 25 years, Lillian and two children Lila and Zachary. His girls love show horses and Osman, though rarely present in person, supported with great pride the relatively new show stables Lawson Creek Farm. His son Zach is an exceptional musician and sound engineer. In the horse world Osman was very proud of all the milestones Lila accomplished in the last two years, but seemed to understand and appreciate most Lila’s appointment to the USEF Young Rider International Saddle Seat team. An avid fan of International sports coming from his homeland of French Algeria, Osman “got it” when Lila proudly brought home the Team USA Gold Medal last month!

Notes of condolences can be sent to Lillian, Lila and Zach at their home:
2333 Pence Dr
El Cajon, CA 91935

Emails, texts and phone calls have been overwhelming and the family is grateful. At this time notes to their home would be most appreciated allowing the family time to heal. Any questions or concerns can be sent to Annejudd@aol.com
