Mane Event TBAs picked up as Jr. Ex. Driving Challenge Classes
Both “TBA” (To Be Announced) classes at the Mid-America Mane Event Show have been picked up, adding two Junior Exhibitor Driving Challenge classes to the show schedule – Show Pleasure Driving and County Pleasure Driving. Both will count toward qualifying entries for this year’s Driving Challenge Finals at the American Royal, but as TBA classes not included in the printed prize list, placings will not earn points on the USEF awards system.
Mane Event is October 18-21 at the show-horse-friendly Illinois State Fairgrounds Coliseum in Springfield. Jane Bennett, Paul Cates and Sandra Lilly are judging all classes.
TBA classes are put in the schedule to accommodate exhibitor-requested classes, which must be in divisions or sections offered at the show. Specific classes are requested with sponsorship ($125) and guarantee of at least three entries.
In addition to an expansive class list with excellent options for amateurs showing performance and pleasure horses and ponies, plus ideal facilities for showing young stock, Mane Event also hosts three national Finals – the National Horse Show “Good Hands,” the National Pleasure Olympics and the AHHS Youth Medallion (6 classes).
Mane Event prize lists and entry forms can be downloaded from www.MidAmericaHorseShow.org or a printed copy can be requested from Show Manager Joy Meierhans: 630/557-2575 or JM@TheMeierhans.com. Mane Event is produced by Mid-America Horse Show Association, one of the ASHA’s largest charter clubs.
