CH Callaway's Pretty Penny -- 16-time World's Champion.

It is with immense sadness that we report the passing of arguably one of the greatest Country Pleasure Driving horses of all time, the incomparable CH Callaway’s Pretty Penny.

This gallant mare passed away Saturday, Oct. 27 at Hollow Haven Farm in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

By Callaway’s Full Power, and out of Callaway’s Money Penny, by CH Will Shriver, Pretty Penny was born May 10, 1997. She was owned by the Brown-Anderson Farms and shown by Nancy Anderson.

Over the course of her brilliant career she acquired more accolades in country pleasure driving than perhaps any other – in 18 Louisville appearances in that division, she was 16 times a World’s Champion and twice a Reserve World’s Champion. She earned her coveted “CH” status when she was just 8 years old.

In 2010, she and Nancy were the Country Pleasure Driving World’s Champion of Champions for the eighth consecutive year – an unprecedented feat.

Just this year she was undefeated in four classes leading up to her scheduled retirement at the World’s Championship Horse Show.

She will be greatly missed, but remembered always as one of the greatest.
