As a result of the success and continued interest in the Learn to Ride or Drive in Style program, additional participating Saddlebred and Hackney stables and trainers are sought to meet the needs of interested parties in various geogrpahical areas.
For those who have missed the promotional efforts regarding this phenomenal program, Equestrian Life, along with the United Professional Horsemen’s Association (UPHA), American Saddlebred Horse Association, and American Hackney Horse Society, have teamed up to put together the Learn to Ride and Drive in Style program. To learn more and watch the excellent video pieces produced by Equestrian Life, and featuring many of our Saddlebred and Hackney enthusiasts, visit the Equestrian Life website, here.

This program is drawing in countless new people to the industry with the offer of a free riding or driving lesson. The program itself is doing exactly what it was intended to do; it is now up to the professional horsemen and horsewomen to step up and do their part, providing these new, interested parties with a good experience, introducing them to the Saddlebred and Hackney breeds.

Earlier this year, UPHA President Bret Day issued a “call to arms” of sorts, urging UPHA members to complete the simple application process and take part in this forward-thinking initiative. Equestrian Life is getting people excited about the show horse industry. Sign up to take advantage of this great opportunity that the UPHA has put together to bring new customers into the Saddlebred and Hackney barns across the country!

The process is simple. All of the documents necessary can be emailed, faxed or mailed to the UPHA. Complete the short Equestrian life application and send it to Kristin Stivers at the UPHA office. Include a copy of your Rider Release form and a Certificate of Liability Insurance, which can be emailed directly from your insurance agent. All documents can be emailed to kstivers@uphaonline.com, faxed to (859) 255-2774 or mailed to UPHA, 4059 Iron Works Parkway #2, Lexington KY 40511.

With questions or for more information, contact Kristin Stivers at UPHA, at (859) 231-5070.
