On Wednesday August 20, 2014 at the World’s Championship Horse Show from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Gayle Lampe will be signing copies of her newly revised book Riding for Success: Both in and out of the show ring at the American Saddlebred Museum’s Gift Shop Booth in the North wing across from the Saddlebred Café. A comprehensive how-to guide about saddle seat riding, the new soft bound publication is full of updated information along with additional chapters and quotes.
It’s the Chinese Year of the Horse and what better place to celebrate than the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show? Immediately following the evening performance on Wednesday August 20, 2014, the Saddlebred Café in the North wing adjacent to Freedom Hall will be transformed into a Chinese wonderland and will feature a special performance by the world renowned Stars of The Peking Acrobats.
On Friday, July 25 the 2014 Saddle Seat World Cup concluded with the United States repeating their 2012 performance, sweeping the top podium positions in the competition, and taking home Gold Medals in both the Three-Gaited and Five-Gaited sections.
