St. Louis National Charity Announces Exciting Updates

The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show announced exciting updates on Friday. Stalls and Party Boxes are both sold out, and several new barns will be attending the show this year.

The show has added a few new classes, including class 21.1 Ladies Fine Harness, which will take place on Wednesday Evening and 81.1 ASB Hunter Country Pleasure Prospect Championship, which will take place Friday Morning. In order to qualify for this class you must have been entered, shown and judged in Class 11.

In addition the show plans to divide the Five-Gaited Pleasure Class into the following Adult and Junior Exhibitor sections:

Class 20 – Five Gaited Show Pleasure Adult
Class 28.1 Five Gaited Show Pleasure Junior Exhibitor
Class 101 – Five Gaited Show Pleasure Adult Championship
Class 103.1 Five Gaited Show Pleasure Jr. Exhibitor Championship

For exhibitors in the Hackney Pony Pleasure Under Saddle Medallion, protective headgear is now required by USEF for this class. Please see Rule HK 132.4

Trail Exhibitors are encouraged to take the time to attend the Mini Clinic and Trail Practice with Course Designer Robert Dehn, which will be held Tuesday at 2 p..m. in the outdoor ring (weather permitting).

The Hunter Over Fences Exhibitors will have their own Mini Clinic with Judge Kylin Myer on Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. This will also be held in the outdoor ring (weather permitting). Both Clinics are great opportunities to get in an extra practice and pick up some pointers before you show.
