St. Louis National Charity Announces Judges

The 2017 St. Louis National Charity Horse Show will take place September 27-30, 2017 with the MRAC Academy Finals taking place on October 1, 2017. Peter Fenton has assembled a wonderful team of judges to officiate at this year’s event – Betsy Boone, Concord, N.C., Maria Gilman, Land O’Lakes, Fla., Christy Parker, Hortense, Ga. and Steve Wheeler, Simpsonville, Ky. Christy Parker will judge the Academy division.

In addition to the full complement of classes from last year, Fenton has added the ASB Three-Gaited Country Western Pleasure Open division as well as the ASB Hunter Country Pleasure Open division. New to the American Saddlebred division, professionals can now compete in these classes. The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show will be one of the first shows to offer these divisions. Both a qualifying class as well as a championship will be offered.

For our Hunter Over Fences exhibitors, a clinic will once again be held with Kylin Colter Meyer on Wednesday September 27. The clinic has been very popular the past few years and the show is looking forward to hosting it again in 2017.

For Trail exhibitors, show management has added a clinic on Tuesday September 26 at 2 p.m. with Robert Dehn – the show's course designer. It is a great opportunity to practice and receive instruction from Dehn.
